Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of logistics operations,
ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role involves managing the supply chain process, optimizing transportation and distribution networks, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Management: Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate records of all stock movements.

Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and resolving any issues that arise.

Order Processing: Oversee the processing of orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and customs regulations.

Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the logistics process, implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with each of the operations teams to align logistics activities with overall business
goals.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Certifications: Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
